Articles of Incorporation

• File501c3 will prepare the document for you
• State Filing Fee:  $70
• State Process Time:  3 weeks
• Annual Business Renewal - File with Sec. of State of Minnesota.  Filing Fee $25. 

Registration with Attorney General of MN.

• Initial & Annual Registration of Charity -  File initially and renew annually if your organization raises more than $25K/yr.
• Filing Fee:  $25

Federal Filing

• 501c3 application -File501c3 will prepare the document for you
• Filing Fee:  $850 if revenue exceeds $10K/yr over the next 3yrs, if not filing fee is $400.

State Taxes

• Organization exempt with 501c3 status are also exempt from Minnesota state income tax.  However, a few exceptions apply check with the Minnesota Franchise Tax department for more info.
